Search Help

This database has been designed to allow flexible searching. You can search on any combination of fields, or just on one. As this is a database of key contacts, it does not list every organisation and contact at local level. It does contain links to a number of sites which list that kind of information, eg the Social Inclusion Partnership Atlas is listed rather than each individual SIP.

To search for contacts in a specific Geographic area, please choose from the drop-down menu, eg "Argyll and Bute". You can also search across all of Scotland or the UK. Please note that many organisations will operate across several parts of Scotland, and have been listed at national rather than local level.

To refine your search further, you can use Organisational category to narrow your search to a specific type of organisation, eg funding bodies or research organisations. Type of work allows you to search for a specific discipline such as youth work.

If you are looking for a specific organisation, type the first letter into the Organisation field, and select from the drop-down list. If it is not listed, we do not have details for it - please let us know if organisations you feel should be included are missing.
